What should I do if my S1 Pro triggers an "E1: Rolling brush" error?

If your S1 Pro triggers an "E1" error, it indicates that the S1 Pro's rolling brush may either be blocked or entangled by foreign objects, causing the robot to malfunction.

Please follow the troubleshooting steps below to solve the issue.

Step 1: Inspect the rolling brush

  1. Power off the robot and turn it upside down.
  2. Remove the rolling brush guard from the robot.
  3. Carefully inspect the rolling brush and its detachable parts to check if foreign objects, such as hair and pet fur, are entangled around them. Please pay close attention to both orange caps of the rolling brush and ensure they are clean. The two orange caps are shown in the following image.

Step 2: Check the cleaning area

If the robot stops moving during its cleaning session, such as on a carpet, it may be because it is on a high-pile carpet with a thickness that exceeds 2 cm, causing the robot's rolling brush to stop rotating properly.

Step 3: Test the robot

Power on the robot and position it in the upright position. Press the Start/Pause button to run the robot and check if it is starting/resuming its cleaning session without issues.
