If your X8 Pro Series robot triggers the error "Water pump error. Please contact customer service", here are some troubleshooting methods and key points to help you resolve the issue:

a) Please flip the robot over, remove the mopping pad holder and the water tank, and check if the robot's pins are either deformed or collapsed. You can use a tool to gently lift the collapsed pins to ensure that they are able to make full contact with the water tank's pins. (Please be careful when manually adjusting the pins and do not apply too much force. If the pins are accidentally lifted out of their range, simply press them back down.)

b) If the above troubleshooting step did not resolve the issue, please replace the water tank with a new one.
