Why do I get different measurement results from different eufy scales?

Modified on: Wed, 10 Dec, 2025 at 11:21 AM

Applicable to:

Smart Scale C1, Smart Scale C20, Smart Scale P3, Smart Scale(T9140), Smart Scale P2 Pro, Smart Scale P2

The body compositions of eufy smart scales are all calculated from the user's bioelectrical impedance, profile (gender, age, and height), and our formula.

It's normal for users to have minor varying results from different scales. The reasons are as below:

1. The measurement of different brands is based on their own algorithm/formula, so different brands and models have their own calculation formula.

2. Please know that the algorithm/formula of the same brand of smart scales will also be iterative.

3. The bioelectrical impedance from different scales may be different since it is measured via the conductive sensors in the scale and the small current measures from the user's body.
