Can the light of S120 Solar Wall Light Cam stay on?
This feature is not currently supported.
We understand your desire for the light to remain on. However, when designing our products, we have to take into account the limitations and the battery life of the product.
Currently, S120 Solar Wall Light Cam lights up in two situations:
According to our test data, if the light is on at 50% brightness for 1 hour, it will consume 15% of the battery’s power. Therefore, if the light remains constantly on, it will significantly increase the battery consumption, thereby shortening the battery life. Considering this, we are not currently considering adding the feature of keeping the light constantly on.
We understand that this may not be the answer you were hoping for, but we hope you understand that our decision is made to ensure the best performance and user experience of our product. We will continue to strive to improve our product performance to meet your needs.
Why does motion sometimes cause S120 Solar Wall Light Cam to light up but not record anything?
The light will be turned on as soon as motion is detected. The system will then judge whether there is anything moving inside the field of view, and if not, the video will not be stored.
Why does the light not turn on when motion is detected during the day?
To save battery that would be used by the light turning on during daylight hours, S120 Solar Wall Light Cam is equipped with a sensor and the light will only turn on from motion if it is dark and the light will be useful.
