Troubleshooting for SmartTrack Devices’ Phone Finder Alerts Issues

What to do when your phone does not make a sound after double clicking SmartTrack.

1. For Android phones, only phones with android 8 or above support the find phone function.

2. Make sure the phone finder switch is on in the app.

3. Make sure eufy Security app location permissions are set to "Always Allow" and notifications are on.

4. If the phone is too far from SmartTrack, the phone will not receive the signal from SmartTrack.

5. If you are sure that the phone is within range of SmartTracke, there may be obstructions around the phone which prevent it from connecting or the sound may be muted. Please move around to try and connect to the phone while listening for the sound.

6. For Android users, please do not enable power optimization. For iOS users, please turn off your phone's "Low Power Mode" and make sure that the background refresh switch of the eufy Security app is turned on.
