This article provides detailed instructions for connecting a Matter device to Apple Home through the eufy app. Additionally, it outlines the key functions currently available through Apple Home.

Adding Matter Devices to Apple Home

1. Ensure you have a compatible hub that has been added to the Home app. [Refer to the list of supported hubs.]

2. Confirm the Matter device has been added in the eufy app.

3. In the eufy app, navigate to Device Page > Settings > Works with Matter > Connect to Third-party Ecosystem > Apple > Start pairing.

4. Open the Home app on your iPhone or iPad. Please note that your iOS system must be version 16.1 or higher.

5. Select the + icon in the Home app to add a device.

6. Select "Add Accessory."

7. Scan the device’s Matter QR code.

8. Assign your device to a room and name the device to help identify and control it.

9. Select “Continue.”

10.  Select “Done.”

Functions Supported by Apple Home

1. Lock/unlock with the Home app.

2. Lock/unlock with Siri on your iPhone or iPad.

   1. Note: The Unlocking function is not supported on HomePod.

3. Check the status of the Smart Lock.

4. Check the battery level of the Smart Lock.

5. Create and manage 24/7 access.

6. Automatically lock the Smart Lock when leaving home and unlock it when returning.
